Ecoexplore Mission

The goal

EcoExplore Florence was born from the deep conviction that Florence is not only the cradle of the Renaissance, but a living ecosystem where art and nature come together in a centuries-old harmony. My mission is to reveal the ancestral link between the Florentine creative genius and the landscape that inspired and nourished it.

My Vision
I believe that to truly understand Florence it is necessary to explore the vital connection between the hills that surround it and the masterpieces it holds. Every pietra serena of the Duomo tells the story of the quarries of Fiesole, every fresco celebrates the colors of the Tuscan hills, every historic garden testifies to the perpetual dialogue between human intervention and nature.

My Commitment
I undertake to:
- Reveal how the Tuscan landscape has shaped the imagination of the great masters
- Explore the paths that connect the city to the surrounding hills, the same paths that inspired artists and architects
- Tell the story of Florence through its natural resources, from the Arno to the stones used in its monuments
- Promote conscious tourism that respects the balance between artistic heritage and the natural environment.

Looking to the Future: Art and Natural Resources
The masterpieces of the Renaissance were not only born from inspiration, but also from the raw materials that nature generously offered: the minerals for the pigments that gave life to Botticelli's vivid colors, the Carrara marble that allowed Michelangelo to free his figures from the stone, the poplar wood that welcomed the enigmatic smile of Leonardo's Mona Lisa.

Now more than ever, preserving these natural resources becomes crucial. It's not just a matter of protecting evocative landscapes: it's about preserving the raw materials that could give life to the masterpieces of tomorrow. The trees that grow today could become the boards on which a future master will paint. The minerals we preserve could be transformed into the colors of a new Renaissance.

Our responsibility goes beyond the preservation of a historical heritage: we must ensure that future generations of artists have access to the same natural resources that made the masterpieces of the past possible. Every preserved quarry, every protected forest, every protected natural resource is an investment in the future of art.

The Promise
With EcoExplore Florence, every exploration becomes a journey of discovery where art comes to life through the nature that inspired and nourished it. From the pietraforte of the Palazzo Vecchio to the Boboli Gardens, from the views of Pontormo to the landscapes of Leonardo, we will reveal a Florence where culture and nature are inextricably intertwined.

Join me on this unique journey to discover a Florence never seen before, where every step reveals the perfect symbiosis between human genius and natural resources, and where the preservation of the environment becomes the guardian not only of inspirations, but also of raw materials for future art because, as a great actor said...

"We don't read and write poetry because it's cute. We read and write poetry because we are members of the human race. And the human race is full of passion. Medicine, law, economics and engineering are noble professions, necessary for our livelihood. But poetry, beauty, romance, love, these are the things that keep us alive." Robin Williams.
